Americans upbeat about housing

With interest rates almost back to where they were 2 years ago, and a good supply of homes to buy, NOW IS A GREAT TIME TO CONSIDER OWNING A HOME OF YOUR OWN!! Rates are still very low!

A recent survey by Digital Risk showed the following:

• Over half of homeowners believe the housing market in their region and nationwide has improved.
• The majority of homeowners (91%) and renters (83%) view home ownership as a good investment.
• Sixteen percent saw gains of more than 20% in value after buying and owning their home for 1-2 years.
• Home buyers are upbeat about the market and 70% said they would prefer to be helped through the process instead of doing it on their own.  They want to make sure they get a “good deal!”
